In the final quarter of 2023, the UK's top food delivery applications on the Android platform demonstrated a range of user engagement and download trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Starting with Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, the app saw a fluctuation in downloads, starting at roughly 27K in late September and dropping to around 17K by the year's end. Weekly active users showed a declining trend from 438K to 287K in the same period.
Just Eat - Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download pattern, with numbers hovering around 18K to 23K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base showed more variability, initially at 529K, peaking at around 579K in late November, and settling at 546K as the quarter closed.
Deliveroo: Food Delivery UK experienced a moderate ebb and flow in downloads, with a starting point of approximately 16K and reaching up to 20K by December. The weekly active users began at just over 1M, peaked at around 1.07M in early December, and then dipped to 859K by Christmas.

Finally, HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery showed a decline in downloads from 11K at the quarter's start to just above 4K at its end. The weekly active users saw a dip from 60K to around 53K, indicating a slight decrease in user engagement over the quarter.
